This neat little house would be ideal for a holiday home or for an easy transition into life in the village. It has a light, airy living room and a large bedroom. There is the beginnings of a bathroom plus a small room for storage or another bedroom.

This house has been really well looked after and was lived in until very recently. Its in a village near to Voditsa and would be a great place to start your life in Bulgaria. It has three rooms and excellent cellars just asking to be converted. The barns are in very good condition, the yard is neat and tidy with very good vines, plus the usual range of fruit trees. In addition, most of the field, which leads down to a stream, has been planted as an apple orchard. The cute little lake is a few metres away. The house is in a secluded area of the village with great views. There are shops and a bar in the village and the nearby town of Popovo is a ten minutes away.

This house is in perfect condition and comes with a lot of furniture so you could move straight in. It has a large hallway that is almost another room. There are three large rooms, all with two sets of windows - very light and sunny. There is a kitchen with an excellent, almost new, woodstove. The bathroom is a wet room with a toilet - very unusual! There is a large summer kitchen with another woodstove and plenty of work surface. There are wooden floors in the main rooms plus a really big cellar downstairs and an outside preserving area.
The barns are all in great condition and are designed for animal use with sections for chickens, rabbits, pigs and donkeys but could equally be developed into interesting workshop spaces. The field at the back has been used until this year and just needs ploughing. There are vines and the usual array of fruit trees.
Right across the road from this house is a spring and the run-off can be channelled to irrigate the field.
It has a new security system and also has neighbours all around. Its about 2 minutes from the village centre.
This house is great value, in an excellent position and would be ideal for someone who wants to step right into small scale farming or it could be the perfect holiday home that only needs decorating.

This is probably the best value property we have had on this site for ages. The house is amazingly well built with very straight walls - unusual in Bulgaria and a excellent roof. It has oak floors throughout and wood paneled ceilings and is neatly divided into two apartments.
Upstairs are two large airy rooms, a very big hallway, a balcony and a large storeroom that is just asking to be a bathroom. Floor are immaculate and beautiful.
Downstairs are two more large rooms with oak floors, a room that has been a kitchen and a very large cellar with wonderful oak beams. The whole of the downstairs area is built of stone with oak beams - when this is exposed and cleaned, its the most lovely materials to be living in.
The house is in great condition - apart from the bathroom, it just needs decorating.
And then there’s the outside…..joined on to the house are a number of animal barns with a huge area above that covers half the length of the house. It has oak beams and is high enough to stand up - it could be a studio, a chill out space, more accommodation …or a great place to store your grain if you keep animals. This whole building is brick with very straight walls. Across the very wide courtyard, is another barn, with mud brick walls. The roof needs a little attention but it also has a large open window space at the far end with views across the field to the woods beyond.
There are some additional animal houses and covered car entrance space.
Its in a lovely part of the village with neighbours on all sides and a well just across the road. Along the north facing side is an channel which would allow for a grey water system from the bathrooms.
There is about 1000 sq metres of land beyond the house and the usual range of fruit trees plus one enormous and very wonderful walnut tree - you’d get enough of that one tree to last you all year.
This house is really looking for someone to live in it but if you even converted the upstairs area and put in a wetroom, I think there would be rental opportunities - I’d be happy to help with that - I’m always getting people who want to come and view property and there’s nowhere in the village for them to rent short term.

This is a lovely big house with great views to the south east. It has 4 good sized room and a hallway that is a big as another room. The house has been cleared - its just waiting for some modernisation and furniture. Some of the floors are wooden and all the rooms are really light and airy with great views.
Downstairs, the huge cellar has been made into one room running the length of the house. There are wonderful oak beams and stone walls and a small kitchen area leading off to the left. The whole house is sound and in very good condition.
The barns are extensive and also in very good condition. An additional gate runs into the barn courtyard.
The garden around the house is about 500sq metres and contains a few fruit trees. In addition, on the left of the house, is a small building, in need of some repair, that was originally a small bakehouse.
The field is across the lane from the house and is surrounded along its edges, by a range of fruit trees.
The whole property is about 5 minutes walk from the village centre but is quite secluded.

This house comes fully furnished with comfortable, traditional furniture and carpets - you could move straight in to a new Bulgarian life. There are three large rooms upstairs plus a hallway and storage area that would be a great bathroom.
What you need to think about: (1 decre is 1000 square metres = about half an acre)
……….. Downstairs are 2 small kitchens (dont know why there are 2) and a really big living room. Its unusual to see so much space in a typical village house - I think this used to be the posh end of town! Its about 5 minutes walk to the centre of the village and is on a good road. The house is generally in good condition and the owner is currently living in it. One thing that might need some work is the balcony - picturesque but you might not want to stand on it. The outhouses and the land on the other hand have been a bit neglected. The owner is an old woman and she hasn’t been able to work the land on her own. There is a well on the land and a stream at the end of the property and one of the most magnificent trees you’ve ever seen - its called Tupola in Bulgarian -not sure what it is in English but its huge and glorious. This house has loads of character and would be a great restoration project and it used to be pink! …………… ref:1011 This is a really interesting old house. The original carved wooded balcony is an immediatly attractive feature and you could sleep on that space in the summer. There are 3 large bedrooms upstairs, two od them share a wood stove build into the wall. …………………….. ref:1013 Outside are some very good barns and a huge garage area - all have potential for conversion to more living space. The garden is enclosed and surprisingly, contains a potential swimming pool. If you wanted to pursue this, there is a well with your own water supply. The field is about 1 dec and has been used for grass. Its a blank canvas right now and just asking to be developed as a garden. It has a few fruit trees around the edge, a couple of more barns and a track at the side that leads to the very nearby forest. Its about 10 minutes from the shops and when you step out of the door and look around, you can see 3 different forests in all directions. Its also in a lovely, peaceful little street. This house isn’t much to look at from the outside, but once you are in the courtyard space, it feels open, light and friendly. It is sound and doesn’t need any major repairs. You could move straight in.
