We offer you the opportunity to spend some time in a lovely little village where life goes on much as it has done for decades. You can choose your own spot in my lovely garden which gets lovelier every year. If you don’t have a tent, you can use one of ours and we also have beds and airbeds to make your camping as comfortable as possible.
The facilities are basic - we use compost toilets and the showers are heated either by the sun or in the wood burning boiler. The run-off grey water is used in the garden.
The Barn is a lovely peaceful space where you can shelter from the sun and the occasional torrential downpour. It’s very old and made from mud bricks. We’ve been renovating it over
the past couple of years but we want it to stay as traditional as possible. Its a comfortable place to relax, eat, make music and just chill. We also have a kitchen and a barbecue area that you can use.
You can cook for yourself or you can join us for dinner - the food is all home made using mostly the stuff from the garden. We may have vegetables for sale or perhaps jars of chutney, jam or other preserves.
We really hope that you will come and stay with us for a while - traditional life in these village is slowly dying as ‘development’ progresses - its a great way of life and we hope you’ll take this opportunity to add it to your travelling experiences. There may also be possibilities to rent a house in the village - contact me for more details.
Please check out the activities on our Events page. It may not be possible to camp during these dates - please contact me for more details of events coming soon.
If you would like to come and stay at St. James’ Park, please email Kathy on comeandliveinvoditsa@gmail.com
This is a bit of a secret campsite but if you make it here it’ll cost you

We’re open from April until November and there’s possibly Hostel space during the winter depending on who is living here. You wont want to camp out in minus 20!
